2020 Toronto Outdoor Adventure Show (Part 1)

The Quiet Guiding Company will have a booth at the 2020 Toronto Outdoor Adventure Show. Want to come to the show? There’s a coupon for $4 off of admission at the bottom of this post.

If you’ve never been to the show, I’d love to see you there! Here is some information to help you decide:

What is the show about?

In a word, adventure! Whether you have epic adventures in mind or something smaller in scale or closer to home, there are speakers to spark inspiration, travel companies of all sizes and varieties from one-woman operations like mine to big ventures like G Adventures, and loads of vendors selling quality outdoor gear.

I’ve been to the show a number of times now: as an individual interested in all that the show had to offer, as an employee of an outdoor-related publication, and as a contractor for an adventure travel organization. I *love* talking with like-minded people at this show. Yes, even this introvert gets a lot of energy from talking with adventurous, outdoorsy folks for three days straight.

(You know I totally crash after this show. This year I have the benefit of my other work love – the college, who will also be at the show – being on Reading Week after the show ends.)

Where is the 2020 Toronto Outdoor Adventure Show held?

At the International Centre near the airport. There’s usually ample parking. If you’re taking public transit, the Malton GO Station is across the street and there’s a pedestrian tunnel connecting the two. Mississauga’s MiWay bus system stops in front of the International Centre. And the TTC also connects here.

Address:

Hall 5

6900 Airport Road

Mississauga, ON L4V 1E8

When?

Friday, February 21st through Sunday, February 23rd (2020, of course!)

The show runs 10-7 on Friday, 10-6 on Saturday, and 10-5 on Sunday.

What else should I know?

From a The Quiet Guiding Co. perspective, I’ll have give-aways in my booth for people who stop by over the course of the weekend. I’ll post more information about what and how you can enter when it gets a little closer to the show. I haven’t seen a copy of the floor map yet, so as soon as I know where you can find me I’ll post that as well. Also tickets appear to not be on sale quite yet, so keep an eye on the website for when they go live.

UPDATE (January 13, 2020): Tickets are available for sale here. And I have been tentatively slotted into booth #773.

Finally, if you have any questions between now and then shoot me an e-mail or contact me on social media (links above). I’d love to connect!
